Infiniti makeover

So guys as we promised we are going to write about Infiniti cars. The reason why I chose this brand to be the first is (you guessed correctly) becuase this is my no.1 car.
Infiniti is a luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Nissan. Many of you might ask why is Infiniti separated from Nissan? Well Nissan wanted to get into the luxury car production but it wasn't really possible under Nissan's name just because Nissan isn't known for luxury. Infiniti was born as a combination of quality Nissan parts with new look and a new name. Did it succeed? Oh yeah, it sure did. The precise model I want to talk to you about is Infiniti's ,probably most know model among car enthusiasts, G35, in this case coupe edition.
Since they are not so popular (at least where I come from) I tell you how I found out that's the right car for me. I was looking for a sports car, which would be usable to more than 2 persons and with acceptable price. First I was looking at some BMW coupes (yeah, it had to be coupe) but they were so high on price and to be honest nothing special. I was looking for something that can be tuned but still remain normal (read: not gangsta-rapper style). Since BMW didn't satisfy my needs I started looking at Mercedes and I have one conclusion: Those coupes are damn ugly. Audi was way too expensive even to look at. Then I turned to Japanese, first I found Mitsubishi, it was cool but there was something missing, can't even describe it but it just wasn't right for me. I was already giving up and then I end up looking at red 350z, damn that thing was beautiful, but it has only two seats. Since I was looking at 350z, I thought what the heck, I'll check other models by Nissan and then I stumbled upon Infiniti G35 coupe 5AT, it was love at first sight, cheap, stylish, enough horsepower to carry my big fat ass (just kidding, I'm skinny as F). I didn't know much about Infiniti, I just knew it was Japanese and thought to myself: "It's Japanese it can't be bad" so I went on the market and found used one for a good price with like 80 000 miles on it. It was pretty much in piece of crap shape, but that's the way I wanted it, since it was cheap I could invest money that I saved into tuning it how I wanted, not the previous owner. So thats the story of How I bought it now it's time to show you how it looked, and how it looks now.

So this is how the car looked, a bit damaged, but nothing that couldn't be fixed without breaking a buck. So this was pretty ugly and with messed up paint.
So I decided to do everything I could alone without any professional help (except for paint work, that was done professionally and it sucks so I wish I did that as well).
All in all I did a huge amount of work and I'll show you through some pictures of the car when I was (almost) done.

Here is the work done so far:
The car has new paint, 046 black done by a professional but I'm really not satisfied cause the clear coat was done poorly, but I'm gonna repaint it soon by myself and I'm gonna show you guys the whole process so stay tuned for that. Next thing I did was changing rims (love these Gianelle rims) from 18" to 20" and painting them in red-black combo. I also polished headlights (I'm gonna also share the wonders of polishing with you very soon). Side turn signlas were removed cause they look ugly and I'm in Europe so nobody cares anyways.

This would be about it. I'll keep you guys posted on what we are going to do next, all in all I really recommend Infiniti cause it's an awesome, cheap, reliable car which is prone to tuning. In a few days we will post a link to review of this car on our YouTube channel.
Cheers guys!
'Till next time!
